The live viewer gets the screen back: bigger map, a scrub bar you can trust, and a rewind that no longer stalls the match. Plus one click to contract a whole roster.

Watching a match
- CHANGEThe map is the screen now. On a desktop the two team boards sit either side of it and the play by play runs down the right at full height, so the chrome that used to eat the top and bottom of the window is gone and the map is drawn much larger.
- CHANGEOne row across the top carries the mode, both scorelines, the clock, the venue and the exit. The team boards no longer repeat the score, so there is one place to look for it instead of three.
- CHANGETeam boards use each club's real colours, so you can tell the sides apart at a glance.
- FIXThe scrub bar was drifting backwards through a match that was running forwards, because it kept guessing at how long the match would be and revising the guess. The bar is now simply what has been broadcast so far: it is full while you watch live, and rewinding walks back inside it.
- FIXDragging the scrub bar no longer drives the match. You can rewind as far as you like, but you cannot drag past what has actually been played, so scrubbing forward stops racing the simulation ahead of you. Grab to pause, let go to resume.
- FIXPlay still works once a match has finished, so a rewind is no longer a dead end.
- FIXA live Search and Destroy map plays all the way through. It used to freeze on the last moment of round one and only catch up when the whole match had finished calculating.
- FIXReleasing the scrub thumb could crash the viewer with an application error. It cannot now.
On a phone
- FIXThe manager phone is properly out of the way while you are watching, in every viewer, instead of floating over the broadcast.
- FIXThe top bar fits a 375px screen. The mode badge and crests step aside on small screens and the clock steps down a size, so nothing overlaps.
- CHANGEThe player strip under the map is taller on phones, showing a proper board instead of a single row, using space that was being wasted as black bars.
Careers that do not break
- FIXOpening the MyPlayer tab or a player from My Team could fail with "a client side exception has occurred" and leave the career looking bricked, because the app restores the tab you were last on and crashed again on every resume. Panels now fail on their own and show what went wrong in place, and the rest of the career keeps working. The save was never actually damaged.
- FIXThe two things that were throwing are fixed as well: a contract card reading a salary a slightly older save did not carry, and a player whose archetype this build does not recognise.
- FIXImporting a MyPlayer save keeps you as the same person in your world. An import used to mint a new identity, which orphaned your seat on the team sheet and left a duplicate of you beside it. Existing careers that were split this way are cleaned up on load.
Building a world
- NEWAuto contracts. The Players tab has a fill button, and a banner tells you how many rostered players still have no deal, so contracting a twenty club world is one click per world instead of two numbers per player.
- CHANGEThe fill is not a second economy. It prices players on the same curve career mode uses, anchored to that world's own team budgets, so an auto filled world plays like a hand tuned one from day one. Free agents get an asking price and stay unsigned.
- CHANGEContract lengths follow the world's own rating bands, come down for veterans, and are deliberately staggered, so season two is not a league wide fire sale with every deal expiring at once. Payroll fills to about 70 percent of a club's budget, leaving room for in season signings. Salaries you set by hand are never touched.
Stats
- FIXIn a player career, every other player in the league was finishing the season with roughly double the maps, kills, deaths and assists they had actually played, while your own numbers were correct. Results were being counted twice into the same season row. New matches count once. Seasons already recorded keep the inflated numbers, since the true figures cannot be recovered from what was saved.
- FIXA player's season row now credits whoever actually appeared in a match rather than the whole squad including the bench.
